Equal Love Canberra convener Con Karavias said the rally was to show the "majority of people in Canberra support equality".
"It was a wonderful afternoon and we had a vibrant and joyful show of support for LGBTI people," Mr Karavias said.
"We want to put as much pressure as possible on the government to change the law and introduce marriage equality."
Mother of two Dominique McKinnon has been to every rally with her two daughters. She said marriage was a basic human right.
"I bring them to every rally and we're going to keep fighting until my friends are allowed to marry like I have," Mrs McKinnon said.
"I can marry my husband, why can't my friends marry their girlfriends or boyfriends?"
Voters have just under two weeks to send their ballot papers to the Australia Bureau of Statistics. More than nine millions votes have been received.
"We're still campaigning for a 'yes' vote, but we firmly believe that we're going to win the vote with flying colours," Mr Karavias said.
"We want to make sure that the plebiscite leads to full equality as soon as possible."
The results of the survey will be published on the ABS website on November 15.
