As history was made at home, with the sixth leadership spill in five years and Malcolm Turnbull overthrowing Tony Abbott to become our 29th Prime Minister, Seven's Sunrise team continued on their history making stunt to broadcast five shows from five different countries.
Monday saw Kochie, Sam and co take over the 7-star Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai before jetting off to London ahead of Tuesday's broadcast. They will then move across the pond to New York and Niagara Falls before finishing the week in Cancun.
Meanwhile, the Today crew packed their overnight bags and hit the Hume Highway late Monday in order to broadcast from 5am Tuesday outside the corridors of power.
Producers, Stefanovic and Wilkinson are reportedly "working through the night" and have already lined up interviews with "the winners and losers" of Monday's night sensational Liberal Party implosion.
During the four hour show they will also throw to Laurie Oakes and financial analyst Ross Greenwood for analysis and have curated a special politically focused The Mixed Grill segment.
Sunrise will no doubt be working hard, albeit nine hours behind, to match its rival which is gaining ratings traction.
