A three-car crash brought traffic to a standstill on the Monaro Highway, one of many crashes slowing major thoroughfares in the Territory during Tuesday morning's wet weather.

One northbound lane was blocked, causing major delays in the Symonston area from about 8.30am, but occupants of the cars were unharmed, according to the Emergency Services Agency.
At least two of the cars involved were displaying red P-plates.
Around the same time, there were reports of a crash on a Tuggeranong Parkway ramp, which caused delays on the Parkway and Cotter Road according to commuters.
The Barton Highway was also blocked just south of Murrumbateman, near Mcintosh Circuit.
At 8.55am, there was a four crash in Narrabundah near the Monaro Highway on-ramp, but everyone escaped injury in that crash also.
