NSW Police said emergency services were called to Sutton Road at Sutton about 12.50pm following reports of collision between a 4WD and a ute, with the two men driving the vehicles dying at the scene.
The men were the only people in the cars.
The crash occurred about one kilometre north of Norton Road, a short distance north-east of the ACT border.
NSW Police said they were still investigating the crash and a report would be prepared for the coroner.
Sutton Road was closed in both directions for much of the afternoon and evening, but reopened by 8pm.
