Australian star Ellyse Perry will use the learning experience of being banned from the bowling attack last week as preparation for her first pink-ball experience on Friday night.

Perry's control will be put under the microscope when she uses a pink ball for the first time in an Ashes warm-up match at Manuka Oval.
It will be the only time Australian players get to use the unpredictable ball before they play a day-night Ashes Test against England at North Sydney Oval next week.
Perry has leant on Mitchell Starc for advice and is keen to make amends after she was ejected from Australia's attack in the second one-day international in Coffs Harbour.
The 26-year-old bowled consecutive chest and head-high no-balls in slippery and humid conditions and was ineligible to bowl for the rest of the game despite no intent or danger to the batter.
"I can ticked that one off the bucket list," Perry joked.
"It was an odd one but it just happened. I didn't realise how greasy and humid it was after the storm came through and in hindsight I should have probably held the ball across the seam.
"It was a good learning curve and the rest of the girls bowled really well, so I wasn't really needed anyway.
"It will be interesting to see what the conditions are in Canberra ... I think it will be particularly challenging for batters at night and that's when you want to bowl."
Australia lead the multi-format Ashes series 4-2 after winning two of the first three one-day internationals.
England will play against a Cricket Australia XI at Blacktown on Friday as a warm-up to the Test, while Australia will play against a Cricket ACT XI.
The series will finish with three Twenty20 games at North Sydney Oval on November 17 and Manuka Oval on November 19 and 21.
But the immediate challenge for the players is getting their heads around how to attack the pink ball as both teams prepare to step into the unknown.
Australian opening bowler Starc was on fire in a day-night Sheffield Shield game last week, claiming career-best figures of 8-73 to lead NSW to victory against South Australia.
"Mitch [Starc] has been particularly helpful and forthcoming with a fair bit of information, especially through his experiences with it," Perry said.
"We've looked at a few of those things at training in terms of how to keep the ball shiny and what's the best way to go about it when it does start to crack to get reverse swing.
"That's been really helpful to have his insight. But it will be interesting to see how it plays at Manuka Oval and North Sydney, which can often have a bit of life in the pitch.
"I've only trained with a pink ball. There are definitely some differences, it probably moves a little bit more, especially off the seam. It also wears differently. Instead of scuffing up, it sort of cracks.
"We would have taken a 4-2 lead at the start of the series ... it has set up a really important Test match now."
A Test-match victory will edge Australia closer to an Ashes triumph, with four points on the line in the Test and two points awarded to the winners of each one-day and Twenty20 clash.
International rookie Belinda Vakarewa will play for the ACT invitational side against her Australian teammates in a bid to impress and win Test selection.
"The fact that I'm even here in the [Australian] squad is amazing, so to be able to be up for a baggy green, or even just to play [on Friday], I'm really excited for it," Vakarewa said.
"[The pink ball] is very different, it feels a lot bigger in my hands than it probably actually is. It's been really good, it's doing what I want so I'm happy with it."
