Police seized 182 cannabis plants, about 300 cannabis seeds and approximately two kilograms of dried cannabis when they searched the house about 3pm.
The officer in charge of City Police Station, Detective Station Sergeant Adrian Craft, said it was a significant drug seizure and ACT Policing would continue to target illicit drug production, distribution and trafficking.
"Large quantities of cannabis such as this are often sold for criminal profit, so I applaud our officers for the success of this operation in getting these drugs off our streets," he said.
The man will face court at a later date, police said in a statement.
