Police released shocking video of a man punching two passengers in the face on separate Brisbane buses as they continue an appeal for witnesses.
The first attack occurred on Sunday, December 9, about 7.45pm when a 40-year-old man was sitting on a bus stopped at Maundrell Terrace in Chermside West.
Security vision released by police shows a man in a red T-shirt and dark trousers, wearing a backpack, apparently punch the victim in the head before immediately exiting the bus.
The second incident occurred three days later about 5.45pm.
An 18-year-old woman was sitting on a bus stopped at South Pine Road at Everton Park when an attacker, believed to be the same man, this time wearing a red-and-white shirt and shorts, punched the woman before quickly leaving the bus.
The woman suffered facial injuries.
Inspector Lynn Asher said Stafford police recognised the man they believed to be responsible, because he was wearing the same shirt seen in shocking CCTV footage.
He has not yet been charged.
