Firefighters successfully extricated both patients from the vehicles following the incident on the corner of Brierly Street and Hindmarsh Drive, Weston.
Paramedics assessed five patients in total. Two were treated on scene before being transported to the Canberra Hospital in stable conditions.
Hindmarsh Drive remains blocked at Brierly Street. The scene has now been handed to ACT Policing.
