The driver of one vehicle was confirmed dead after the two-car crash on Haigslea-Amberley Road at Walloon about 3.45pm, police said.

Two young girls in the other car were transported to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital with serious chest, abdominal and pelvic injuries.
The female driver was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The road is closed in both directions from the Warrego Highway and diversions were in place.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
