Matt Millar was lost for words after a disastrous round at the Australian PGA championships, but the Canberra golfer has vowed to restore some pride after an "embarrassing" day at Royal Pines.

Millar is languishing near the bottom of the leaderboard after struggling to find any rhythm on Saturday, misfiring his way through a third-round seven-over par to be four-over par for the tournament.
Making it worse was the harsh reality of golf when playing partner Jack Wilson leapt to a tie for eighth despite starting the day equal with Millar on the scoreboard.
Millar, 41, couldn't find answer to his on-course woes when he walked off the 18th hole, but he's desperately searching for redemption in what will be his last tournament round of the season on Sunday.
"It was just one of those days ... there were just too many miscued ones out there," Millar said.
"I was missing right and I was missing left, so it wasn't a good combination. I've just got to go out there on Sunday and play for pride more than anything.
"I've got to say I felt rather embarrassed out there today, it's not a good feeling when you're out there dropping seven shots in a round and not making any birdies.
"It's a lonely place to be between the ropes when things aren't going right like that. Jack was playing well as well, and when that happens you just try to get out of the way."
Millar injured his back when he was warming up on Friday, but said the ongoing issue had nothing to do with his disappointing third round.
He will be one of the first players to tee off on Sunday morning and he's keen to finish on a high before switching his focus to a full-time program next year.
Millar will play two Pro-Am events to finish the season but has already started thinking about when and where he will play in Europe and Asia next year.
"I've got nothing to lose now, so I'll just get out there in the last round and just see if I can resurrect something," Millar said.
