It's Friday and it's mere hours until we can all sit back with a glass of wine (or beer, soft drink or water). Lovely lifestyle reporter Jil Hogan has compiled this handy list of events if you're scratching for something to do over the weekend. And we're looking at a relatively warm one: our friends at the weather bureau predict a top of 22 degrees today, 21 on Saturday and 23 on Sunday.
Let's take a look at today's news.

Canberrans targeted in a flashy new phone app released by the "no" campaign were surprised and alarmed to learn their addresses had been published online.
Among the features of the Freedom Team app is a tool that maps the addresses of people the Coalition for Marriage says have not yet engaged with the campaign.
But one person Michael Koziol spoke with said they'd already voted - and an undecided voter said the tactic wouldn't work on them anyway.

The ACT government has unveiled a new solar farm that can generate enough electricity to power 3000 homes.
The long-awaited Williamsdale Solar Farm, about 20 kilometres from Canberra's city centre, features 36,000 solar panels.
It complements other farms along the "solar highway", which now totals a combined 177,000 panels along a 50 kilometre stretch.

Good news, inner northers: the Braddon Block Party is back.
Now it's called the Taste of Braddon and it'll be held November 11 and 12.
The party will celebrate the culture of the suburb, both old and new, with food from local vendors, wine, live entertainment, and in a nod to its former self, a car display.
Jil Hogan's story is great, of course, but Jamila Toderas's pics are a sight to behold. Take a look here.
