The museum will open after dark for an over 18s evening of virtual reality, edible insects, laser tag, karaoke, music and dancing.

Food and drinks will also be for sale, and the galleries will be open to explore.
It's on Friday August 18, 6–9.30pm, and tickets are $15 from nma.gov.au/whats-on/events/night-museum.
