Tuggeranong United striker Alex Oloriegbe has netted 100 goals Canberra's top flight and he thinks it's high time the competition reached a few milestones itself.

The journeyman forward has called for more financial support, and says the only thing separating the NPL Capital Football from its counterparts around the country is dollar bills.
Oloriegbe got a taste for interstate NPL when he faced Sydney United 58 in the NPL finals when playing for Canberra FC in 2013.
"I think we just need a little bit more quality players, a bit more financial support," Oloriegbe said.
"There's not a whole lot of difference between Canberra and Sydney, just that there's more sponsorship, more awareness, people coming to the games."
Oloriegbe said getting more people through the gates would have a knock-on effect, motivating the players and in turn lifting the standard.
"I think we need more publicity. As a player if you see people coming to watch you then it just boosts your morale and makes you want to give that little bit extra," Oloriegbe said.
Traditional cellar-dweller United have stunned the league this season and after a string of strong performances are genuine competitors.
United are in the finals-bound top four for the first time this season and on track for a maiden NPL finals appearance after completing the double over Canberra FC with a 4-2 win last weekend.
Oloriegbe said the challenge of taking United to the promised land was his main motivator for joining perennial strugglers, but the 28-year-old admits he didn't expect to play finals in his first season.
"Honestly speaking, it's one of the reasons I actually decided to come to Tuggeranong. They obviously haven't made the finals for a long time so I took it as a challenge.
"Personally I am a bit surprised with how well things have gone this season and we're getting close now, we're going to take every game as if it's a final."
Despite enjoying his time in the green and white, Oloriegbe still holds ambitions to play overseas again after professional stints in Thailand and Singapore.
"I'm not sure what's going to happen at the end of the season, I might decide to go back overseas," Oloriegbe said.
"Me and my family are going to discuss that when it comes. It's something that I really want to do and something that I'm still chasing."
