The works include:
- Building a coloured, raised platform at the intersection of Eyre Street and Jardine Street with a pedestrian crossing on each of its three approaches;
- Constructing a 2.5 metre wide concrete path on Eyre Street from Wentworth Avenue to the Kingston Group Centre;
- Installing a pedestrian crossing and better lighting at the intersection of Giles and Jardine Streets;
- Widening paths throughout the centre;
- Installing wayfinding signage to help visitors navigate their way to the group centre.
Some intersections and footpaths will be closed during the works, with detours in place.
