Olympic won the Capital Football Charity Shield in a 5-2 thumping of the Cooma Tigers with Stephen Domenici scoring a brace against his former club.
A stunning long range effort from Robbie Cattanach, coupled with two goals each to Domenici and Joshua Gulevski, was enough to see Olympic home at Gungahlin Enclosed Oval.
Last year's FFA Cup semi-finalists traded first half goals with Cooma to take a 2-1 lead into the break, and eventually extended the lead to three to put the result beyond doubt.
The two clubs joined Capital Football in contributing a total of $1500 to CanTeen Australia to add to the donation of the gate receipts and program sales from the night.
