A barefoot man allegedly threatened 7-Eleven staff with what appears to be a gun before fleeing with cash from the till, new CCTV footage shows.

The footage has been released as ACT police seek witnesses to the aggravated robbery in Holt last month.

The man entered the store on Hardwick Crescent around 10pm on Sunday January 22 and approached staff behind the counter with demands for money, police said.
A sum of cash was handed over after the man appeared to pull a gun from the back of his shorts, footage shows.
Police described the man as between 25 and 35 years old, around 175cm tall with a slim build.
He was wearing light grey shorts, a black t-shirt, a black baseball cap and was not wearing shoes.
