Southern Cross Austereo has confirmed that Hit104.7's breakfast duo Ryan Jon and Tanya Hennessy will begin presenting a new Saturday morning breakfast show for 2Day FM Sydney from January 28.
It will mean working six days in a row for the duo, who replaced long-time presenters Scotty and Nige as 104.7's breakfast hosts in early 2016.
It's been a massive year for both radio hosts, who have worked hard to raise their profiles locally, nationally and internationally.
Jon has partnered on several video series with Canberra website RiotACT and appeared in local real estate commercials, while Hennessy's beauty videos racked up 12 million views globally.
It is understood that, in addition to their local hosting duties, the duo will source and produce nationally-focused content throughout the week, hosting their new Sydney show from the Canberra studio between 7am and 9am on Saturdays.
The Canberra Times is awaiting comment from Southern Cross Austereo.
