A Canberra man has been committed to stand trial over the alleged drive-by shooting of a house in Gowrie and torching of a car.

Harley Dean Stott, 23, appeared briefly before the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday charged with five offences.
The offences relate to the alleged drive-by shooting and incidents surrounding the shooting in February 2015.
Magistrate Glenn Theakston committed Stott to the ACT Supreme Court for trial on charges of arson, destroying or concealing evidence, and discharging a firearm and endangering life.
Magistrate Theakston also referred to the higher court for trial two other charges of hindering or obstructing a police investigation.
Stott has pleaded not guilty to all charges. He remains in custody.
The case will appear in the ACT Supreme Court on Thursday.
