The accident appears to have caused significant structural damage to the property, with bricks shifted several centimetres forward in several places.
ACT Policing was called to the house at about 7.30am on Friday, where they found "extensive damage". The residents were home at the time, but no one was injured, police said.
On Friday night the concrete truck remained lodged in the home. The home was unoccupied behind building construction fencing that had been erected around the driveway and property.
An owner's car was also trapped in the garage in front of the cement truck.
It is estimated that a concrete truck of a similar size could weigh more than 10 tonnes.
A neighbour, who was home when the accident happened, said he didn't feel anything but had heard the ensuing commotion.
"You can see the cracks," he said. "Half the house has shifted."
ACT Policing said its collision investigation and reconstruction team were continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
