Police said they found the firearm and ammunition during a search of the 23-year-old's house on Friday, April 24.

The shotgun will now be forensically examined to determine if it has been used in any recent shootings in the ACT.
The woman has been summonsed to face the ACT Magistrate's Court in relation to the firearm at a later date.
