Police attended Grimwade Street at about 4.30am on Tuesday after reports of a stabbing.
Two men were treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.
The alleged altercation took place outside a double storey building where the Langtrees VIP club is located on the upstairs floor.
The proprietor of the downstairs premises, the Wanderlust Gentleman's Club, advised that she was closed for trading that night.
The trail of forensics evidence began at the entrance to the Langtrees VIP club and continued down the long concrete driveway, across Grimwade Street and into the car park on the opposite side of the road outside Sign World.
On the ground within the crime scene of the car park were several items of bloodstained clothing including a discarded black cap.
The alleged altercation between the men had created significant blood splatter around the car park, which police forensics identified and photographed.
Information from the public tipped police off to the whereabouts of Mr Krook and he was arrested at a fast food restaurant in Holt on Tuesday at about 5.15pm.
When he was arrested police officers found cocaine in Mr Krook's possession.
He was remanded in custody and will return to court in May.
