Rebecca Judd has published an open letter lambasting the media, including the Daily Mail, for criticising her lean frame while reminding people that "being thin is not an illness".

"We wonder why there are so many nasty, negative internet trolls out there and we also wonder why so many women have body issues – ummm, probably because they read The Daily Mail," she wrote on her blog Rebecca Judd Loves.
"To have a publication like The Daily Mail continually judging women's bodies (yeah not men's- funny that hey?) has a flow on effect in society. Likewise the discussion of body types on our own chat shows (Today, Mornings, Sunrise etc.) has a similar effect."
The post, titled "OMG do you eat?", was posted on Thursday afternoon and caused her website to crash after she shared it with her 53,000 Facebook fans.
Above her 890-word diatribe and critique of the media, an industry in which she also works as a weather presenter for Channel Nine in Melbourne, she posted a photo of herself wearing a bikini at 32-weeks pregnant with her first child alongside her younger sister, Kate, with the hashtag "#skinnygenes".
"In order to curb the growing trend of people judging one another based on appearance, how about our media organisations lead by example. Lets [sic] not use women's bikini shots and tell the audience that someone's too thin or too fat and thus that makes them a bad role model. I would argue that the only bad role models are the media organisations continually judging these body types," she wrote.
She also points out her physical and professional achievements.
"Oh yeah and let's ignore the fact that I'm never sick, am super fertile, have delivered 2 x big, healthy babies, have the energy to work a million jobs and have ALWAYS looked like this shall we?" she continued.
Judd, a former model and speech pathology student from Perth, suggested that some "of Australia's most famous women who are celebrated for their curvier and more athletic body" suffer from body dysmorphia.
"It's ironic because I've seen some of these women pre-work event, starving themselves, exercising obsessively and stressing about being 'too fat.'
"In contrast, I'll have my breakfast croissant with jam and cream and a strong latte (full cream milk thanks) yet I'm supposedly the one with the eating disorder? Ok then. Remember, being thin is a body type not an illness. When was the last time you 'worried' that a thin man had an eating disorder or that he was being a bad role model? That's right, you didn't," she wrote.
The 31-year-old wife of Carlton captain, Chris Judd, who is deemed the Australian Victoria Beckham for her "Queen of the WAGs" status, shot to fame in 2004 when she walked the red carpet at the Brownlow Medal in a revealing Ruth Tarvydas gown.
The couple have two young children, Oscar, 3, and a daughter, Billie, 9-months.
She came under fire in August, seven months after giving birth to her daughter, when her 242,000 fans on Instagram began commenting on her slender frame after she published a bikini selfie, in which she was endorsing a sunless tan company.
"So beautiful Bec, but as someone who has an eating disorder I hope you don't have the same," one woman wrote.
"Honestly how did you get so thin after having a baby... I need tips I still have 10 kilos to loose [sic] I'm just miserable," posted another.
