Parents have long known the joys of wheeling their children around the flora festival in prams but the event's Dog's Day Out recorded what might be a first - a dog in a pram.
Gilbert the pug along with plenty of other pooches were welcomed to Floriade the first time since the introduction of fencing in 1999.
The special day was made possible with the help of additional volunteers and pet owners who were encouraged to donate to Floriade's charity partner, RSPCA ACT, and the opportunity to take a canine along was only available for one day.
