An Olympic Games berth was so far off Keely Froling's radar she would have laughed had someone mentioned the pursuit of a gold medal.

But now the booming three-on-three basketball format has thrown the Canberra Capitals star into calculations for a trip to next year's Tokyo Games.
Froling has a chance to show the world what she has got as the 23-year-old joins the Australian side for the three-on-three World Cup qualifiers in Puerto Rico this weekend.
She has linked up with Bec Cole, Alice Kunek and Marena Whittle to carry Australia's hopes of featuring at June's World Cup in the Netherlands.
They flew 15 hours to Dallas before boarding another five-hour flight to Puerto Rico, where they will hunt for an all-important World Cup berth ahead of a huge year for the emerging basketball format.
If everything goes to plan, Froling will soon be adding a few more stamps to her passport as she sets her sights on international sport's pinnacle event.
"That would be crazy. For me, Tokyo wasn't really a goal of mine with five-on-five, but now to have that three-on-three come in and for that to now be a really realistic goal is awesome," Froling said.
"It's so exciting. Obviously that's a long-term goal but I'm excited about it, that would just be amazing to go to an Olympics for three-on-three, and the first one.
"People are starting to realise how fun a game it is and how far it can take you. Travelling around Australia, internationally, and the 2020 Olympics - like, who doesn't want to go to an Olympics?
"It's starting to catch on and people are realising it is an awesome game."
A ticket to the Olympics would have Froling far removed from her first taste of three-on-three basketball in the humble surrounds of Belconnen.
Froling and Capitals teammate Marianna Tolo entered a team in a three-on-three tournament - but nobody else entered a female team.
So in the men's competition they went - "that was my first taste and we didn't win a game".
Froling has since emerged as one of the country's best leading into the World Cup qualifiers in Puerto Rico.
"We have really high expectations for ourselves. Obviously there are some strong teams over there, Spain, Brazil, traditionally they're good five-on-five basketball countries," Froling said.
"Hopefully we can still perform really well against them. I think we have a good team now, we've played a lot more three-on-three than we had at this time last year, so we have really high expectations of ourselves and we want to qualify.
"It's obviously a really good opportunity, and coming off Asia Cup last year,w e want to prove ourselves and show the world know what we've got because this is a World Cup qualifier.
"It's super important to qualify for that World Cup and then to look ahead to the Olympics in 2020."
