Drugs, firearms and heirloom jewellery believed to have been stolen during five separate burglaries earlier this year were seized from a Gowrie home on Wednesday morning.

Police say officers carried out a search of the Dalziel Street address at 9.45am and located a firearm, two replica firearms, cannabis, methamphetamine, jewellery, rare coins, tools, electrical items and motorcycle accessories.

Police believe the property was stolen between February and March.
Police are continuing to investigate the burglaries and further persons of interest have been identified.
