It looks like something from The Jetsons so it's appropriate it sits at the entrance to the Canberra Airport.

This is the latest piece of artwork for the airport, commissioned and paid for by the airport itself.
It's called The evolution-tree and it's by New Zealand artist Phil Price, famous for his kinetic sculptures including the yellow dancing scissor-like Dinornis Maximus at Yarra Glen in Woden and Angel Wings on the shores of Lake Tuggeranong.
Price says The evolution-tree is ''the most ambitious wind-activated sculpture I have made to date''.
''I have been designing and developing these sculptures for over 10 years now and have learned a lot about how to solve the problem of having these large machines working and looking elegant,'' he said.
''This piece, with its 22 pod forms all interconnected and balanced together, has been a great challenge and embodies a lot of that evolved knowledge.''
Price says he was also seeking to create a ''wow factor'' for the airport entrance.
