Two men attempted to rob the McDonalds Erindale store at knifepoint early this morning , police say.

One of the men allegedly got into the McDonalds store through a back entrance about 4.30am, and then ran to the front door to let a second man in.
Police say both men were carrying large knives.
They demanded that staff hand over cash from the store's cash register's.
Staff refused to hand over cash, and the two men ran away from the store, driven away by a third man in a white Mazda Astina.
Both of the men entering the store were wearing hoodies and had their faces covered.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police are urging anyone with further information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Violent attempted robbery in Reid
In an unrelated case, police are looking for two men after an attempted aggravated robbery in Reid yesterday.
ACT Policing said a woman was walking through the Bega Flats at 5.25pm when she was approached by two men, one of which hit her in the back of the head.
The woman fell to her knees and she was then struck again in the chest.
The men demanded the woman's belongings and attempted to take her bag, but were unable as she had it over her head.
Descriptions have been provided for both men, both of which look to be in their 20s and between 170cm and 180cm tall.
The first man was wearing jeans, a red jumper, a black beanie and black gloves. The second was wearing jeans, a blue jumper, a black beanie and black gloves.
The men also had a medium sized, shorthaired black and white dog with them.
ACT Policing urge anyone who may have been in the Reid area around 5.25pm and saw two men matching the above descriptions to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
