A disqualified P-plate driver was arrested for drink-driving yesterday after speeding past the scene of an accident, despite the presence of a significant number of highly visible emergency services personnel and vehicles at the site.

About 1.20am yesterday police were called to a single vehicle accident south-bound on the Hume Highway near Goulburn, which at least 18 emergency services personnel attending.
The vehicle was removed from the road, but the speed limit was reduced due to the high number of personnel on scene.
Despite police in reflective vests waving torches, and warning lights flashing on six emergency vehicles, a black ute continued to speed towards the scene of the collision at about 115km/h, and failed to slow as it passed.
Police pulled the ute over about 3km down the road, where a licence check of the 20-year-old driver from Wheo allegedly revealed a suspended P2 licence.
A roadside breath test returned a positive reading for alcohol, with the driver later showing an alleged reading of 0.151 in a breath analysis at Goulburn Police Station.
The man was charged with high-range PCA, and driving with a suspended licence, and will appear in Goulburn Local Court next month.
