A man has been left in hospital with multiple head fractures and missing teeth after an early-morning nightclub brawl in Civic on the weekend.

The brawl began outside ICBM nightclub on Northbourne Avenue before 2.20am on Sunday.
A 26-year-old Aranda man was left with injuries to his face and the back of his head after allegedly being assaulted. He was rushed to Canberra Hospital, and will undergo surgery.
The exact circumstances of the fight remain unclear, but police say they will seek to interview a number of bouncers.

The incident is at least the second serious brawl in Civic over the past two weekends.
A fight began outside the entrance to Uni Pub on London Circuit about 12.50am on Sunday December 11.
Two men were hospitalised, and police say the fight had involved bouncers and patrons.
Police executed a search warrant on Uni Pub last week, seizing CCTV footage and a number of other items.
