Homer Simpson has been snubbed by Wills and Kate after the pair declined an invitation to visit the set of The Simpsons.

The writers for the long-running animation requested the company of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge over the weekend by asking them to join the cast for a table read of an upcoming episode during the final leg of their official tour of North America and Canada.
The letter, 'From the desk of Homer J. Simpson' was penned by the donut loving, beer-swilling dad on behalf of the show.
While it failed to receive the royal seal, it was smudged with pink donut icing and crumbs.
The creators decided to invite the couple along to a cast meeting after Prince William recently said he was a fan of the show and watched it when he was growing up.
The show, which is nearing its 500th episode, is renowned for its famous guest stars including Elizabeth Taylor, Katy Perry, Elton John and Michael Jackson.
"Visiting The Simpsons will provide an excellent opportunity for cultural exchange. In England at four o'clock, you have tea and scones. Whereas at four o'clock here, I have beer and beer," the letter stated.
He also took the opportunity to take a swipe at America's obsession with reality television.
"British people revere the royal family, where in America, we worship our own royal family: the Kardashians."
He then requested the highest chivalric honour, "If you knighted me, that would be so awesome. It would really impress the guys at Moe's," referring to the character's favourite watering hole in fictitious town of Springfield.
"If you agree to visit our little show, I promise I will be amusing, my wife will be gracious, my daughters will be charming, and my son will be duct-taped to the boiler room in the basement," he signed off.
The invitation was respectfully declined as the future King of England and his new wife wrapped up the 12-day tour with appearances at an arts school for underprivileged children, an employment fair for returned serviceman and a gala dinner in Hollywood.
