He will be accompanying the Alchemy Chorus on piano at a special concert on Saturday.
The minister's advisors, Dr Brooke Thomas and Michael White, will also be singing with him and the choir at the concert, I Am Here, on Saturday at 10.30am at the Weston Creek Uniting Church in Parkinson Street, Weston.
The Alchemy Chorus is Canberra's dementia-inclusive community choir. Hilary Wardhaugh with also exhibit some of her photographs of the choir from her Memories are Made of This exhibition.
The performance comes ahead of Dementia Action Week from September 16 to 22 and World Alzheimer's Day on September 21.
