Cameron is set to take on the world's strongest athletes as she prepares to compete in the Strongman Games in the United States in November.
She will be competing in the under-64 kilogram division, where she will have to complete six different lifts to win. The Strongman Games attracts 230 athletes across four weight categories for the competition in Florida.
Cameron has been training at Burley Strength in Fyshwick for two hours, five days per week.
She has come a long way since Cameron found herself starting to become competitive in the gym and wanted to get even stronger.
"A lot of strongman events involve running and carrying with repetition so I have to have good cardio capacity as well so I do some agility and conditioning exercises to replicate the events that will be in the competition," Cameron said.
"A real highlight was deadlifting 210 kilograms at the Brisbane show in July. This was more than three times my body weight and broke the Australian record for my weight class."
