An ACT police spokeswoman said two cars collided at the intersection of Long Gully Road and Mugga Lane before 8am.
Ambulances crews were called and paramedics treated one patient for non-life threatening injuries. The patient was taken by ambulance to Canberra Hospital.
It's not known how many people were inside the two cars during the collision.
Road closures are expected. Traffic authorities have asked drivers to avoid the area.
