Brown has been named in Australia A squads for the looming Twenty20 and 50-over contests against India A in Queensland next month.
The three-game Twenty20 series looms as perhaps her biggest opportunity on the road to the World Cup on home soil early next year.
The 22-year-old fast bowler's chance to press her claims for higher honours comes weeks before the squad for the World Cup is slated to be announced.
Brown is no stranger to the Australia A set-up having been told by selectors in the past just how close she is to an international debut. A strong outing next month could see her dream come to fruition.
"Huge opportunity, absolutely huge," Drew said.
"She has been in and around the A set-up for quite a while and it would be nice to see her break through.

"She has got a few players in front of her, but who is to say she can't take that step up?
"There's always opportunity. When it comes along, hopefully she is ready and raring to go.
"She was training pretty well for us when she was injured, she has been doing a lot of hard work.
"The step up is probably not as dramatic as it used to be. We're in constant contact with Australian coaches and selectors, so we know what people want and the players are well aware of what they need to do.
"I've got no doubt she would be able to handle herself, it would be great for her."
Brown sits seventh on the leading wicket takers list for the WBBL season with 13 scalps to her name as the Renegades eye a finals berth.
Her rich vein of form comes after missing the opening rounds of the WNCL with a shin injury.
Melbourne sit fifth on the table and are nipping at the heels of the Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers as they move towards the business end of the season.
The Adelaide Strikers look set to feature in the finals which will pave the way for a host of Meteors to earn a shot at glory.
But Brown is the ACT's greatest hope of earning a slice of the game's biggest prize - the World Cup.

"She's going really well. I spent a couple of days down there a few weeks ago, and she was in a good place and enjoying working with the Renegades," Drew said.
"She has got a good friendship with Georgia Wareham, so they work quite closely with each other and bounce off each other down there.
"She is bowling well, she is back to full fitness which is brilliant after the injuries she had, and she is making every post a winner."
