The Canberra Raiders will support Curtis Scott when he fronts court facing six charges, including two counts of allegedly assaulting a police officer, on Friday.

Raiders wellbeing officer Andrew Bishop will accompany Scott to the Downing Centre Local Court on Friday morning.

The 22-year-old, who has only just started his four-year contract with the Green Machine, is also being charged with resisting arrest, behaving in an offensive manner, and remaining on trust lands following a request to leave.
He's been given the week off training so he can deal with his off-field issues, but is expected to resume training next week.
