Canberra Capitals call to pack the 'Palace' in WNBL championship clash with Southside Flyers

But you better be quick, with only 900 tickets left late on Monday.

They're also hoping a sold-out AIS Arena, formerly known as The Palace, can help arrest a run of away wins between them and the Southside Flyers.

The Capitals are just one win away from winning consecutive titles having already beaten the Flyers in game one on Sunday night.

A win in front of their home fans in game two will see them wrap up the championship for Froling's second crown and she's called on Canberra to get behind them.

"We want a sellout crowd. When our crowds are good and big and loud we really ride that momentum," she said.

"People know it's hard to come here and beat us.

"That's what we want on Wednesday night and hopefully we can put on a good show and get that win.

"They're going to see a great basketball game, two really good teams, and hopefully they can see us go back-to-back, which would be really special."

It would end a run of the away team winning every game between the two sides so far this season.

The Capitals have won all three of their games in Melbourne, including their 82-80 nailbiter on Sunday, but lost their only encounter in Canberra - 70-65 - but that was at the National Convention Centre and not the AIS Arena.

A packed AIS will be a different proposition.

"We've had success at their house this year and they did beat us at home," Froling said.

"This is finals basketball now and we know what's on the line. Hopefully we can come out and get the job done."

It's already been a big week for the Froling family, with her mother Jenny named a WNBL life member on Saturday.

Jenny won four WNBL championships, with Froling keen to cut the margin with her mum to just two.

"Mum has had so many achievements in the WNBL and a lot of times they fly under the radar just because of everything else going on in our family," Froling said.

"It was really nice to see her recognised.

"I can't remember how many she has but hopefully get a bit closer this time."

Two of the Capitals had a big boost on Monday, with both Marianna Tolo and Kelsey Griffin named in a 19-woman Opals squad for a camp on the Gold Coast at the end of March.

It will be the start of the Opals' preparation for the Tokyo Olympic Games.

But Froling said that would be furthest from her teammates' minds - the sole focus will be getting another championship ring.

Froling, who has represented Australia in 3x3 basketball, hoped she could force her way into the Opals line-up in the future.

"It's a great achievement for them and we've kind of known about it for a little while," she said.

"We're really proud of them, happy for them. [But] right now our focus is the WNBL championship."
