The tourist icon, which celebrated 40 years of operation last year, will re-open after being closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Social distancing requirements mean there will be reduced capacity in some spaces, including on the train, but it will be cause for celebration when the doors open again at 9.30am on Monday.
Cockington Green will also be the site for some of the 2020 Floriade plantings.
