Zambrero at Majura Park is the 13th outlet to open in Canberra and one of 200 worldwide.
Sam Prince started the chain in Canberra in 2005, opening the first restaurant in Braddon.
Zambrero is recognised for its continuing work to end world hunger with its Plate 4 Plate initiative - for every burrito or bowl bought, one meal is donated to someone in need across the globe. Close to 40 million meals have been donated so far. Zambrero has a goal of donating 1 billion meals by 2025.
Canberra Airport head of property Richard Snow was excited about the new partnership.
"We are continuing to expand our retail offering at Majura Park Shopping Centre and Zambrero is a welcome addition to our Majura family," he said.
