Wighton dedicated the Canberra Raiders win against South Sydney to Ulavalu, who was fatally stabbed in a fight at a Civic nightclub two weeks ago.
The Raiders five-eighth had "Poko" - Ulavalu's nickname - written on his wrists for the game and took to social media afterwards to pay his respects to Ulavalu.
"[There is] no comment or need for a statement," the NRL said.
"But the integrity unit is aware of the post and if there is something the NRL needs to communicate at a later stage, they will."
Wighton has taken charge of the Raiders in Josh Hodgson's absence and the Clive Churchill Medal-winner will be crucial to the Green Machine's charge towards the finals.
