There have been no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT in the past 24 hours as the government continues to help Canberrans stranded in Victoria to return to the territory.

There are currently no active cases in the territory.
A total of 113 cases have been recorded in the ACT with 110 cases recovered from the virus. Three people who contracted COVID-19 died. The number of negative tests in the ACT is now 57,177.
Some Canberrans who had exemptions to travel from Victoria through NSW were stuck at the border when NSW suddenly tightened border controls.
The ACT Government had arranged a police escort to allow some travellers to return to the territory.
People who have been in Victoria in the past 14 days are required to contact ACT Health before returning the the ACT.
A public health alert remains in place for some venues in Newcastle and Sydney.
ACT Deputy Chief Health Officer Dr Vanessa Johnston strongly advised ACT residents not to travel to Newcastle or greater Sydney at this time unless for absolutely essential reasons.
"This advice is for your own safety and that of your family, friends, colleagues and the wider community," she said.
"If you have been contacted by NSW Health in relation to the Newcastle or any NSW cases, please make contact with ACT Health (through the COVID helpline-6207 7244) to inform us.

"Before considering any travel outside the ACT, please keep up to date with the latest affected areas and travel restrictions. Follow the guidance on both the ACT COVID-19 website and the COVID-19 website of the state you are travelling to."
Dr Johnston reminded Canberrans to exercise caution when travelling, regardless of location.
"While travelling, it is your responsibility to maintain physical distancing and practice good hygiene, as well as to adhere to the rules of the jurisdiction you are travelling to.
"If you begin to feel unwell with COVID-19 symptoms, please isolate and get tested as soon as possible."
