Curtis Scott's legal team will return to court on Thursday seeking legal costs while the Raiders centre may yet lodge a formal complaint against NSW Police after five charges against him were thrown out of court on Wednesday.

Footage of Scott's Moore Park drunken arrest from the early hours of January 27 was played in Downing Local Court before magistrate Jennifer Giles, who deemed the behaviour of police officers "unlawful".
The 22-year-old can be seen sleeping underneath a tree before police grab his earlobe on three occasions to wake him. Scott then defensively lashed out with his hand before trying to go back to sleep.
Police eventually handcuffed Scott, who was then pepper sprayed and tasered in the immediate aftermath. Scott was subsequently slapped with five police assault charges.
"The handcuffing of Curtis Scott by the police in the initial stages was unlawful, therefore everything else that follows is unlawful, therefore they withdrew everything," Scott's defence lawyer Sam Macedone told The Canberra Times.
"We succeeded in where we wanted to go, we got all matters dismissed.
"We're asking for costs to be paid. We're going to plead guilty to those other two small things he's agreed to plead guilty to."
Scott had already agreed to plead guilty to two charges of public nuisance stemming from his Australia Day weekend in Sydney - for kicking a bike, and throwing a phone at a car - for which he will be sentenced at a later date.
Mr Macedone was hopeful the footage of his client being woken up by the police in the leadup to his arrest would become available to the public.

"I have to say it is drawing a very long and frightening bow to argue that the police can handcuff someone they are trying to wake up who is sleeping under a tree that is not under arrest," Ms Giles said of the footage.
Scott, who was granted permission from the Raiders to leave the bubble so he could appear in court, will miss Saturday's clash with the St George Illawarra Dragons after suffering a leg injury against Canterbury two rounds ago.
Meanwhile, the Raiders could potentially welcome back prop Sia Soliola this weekend after the veteran completed Wednesday's opposed training session.
Coach Ricky Stuart named Soliola on an extended bench earlier in the week, and will make a call on his fitness on Friday.
Enforcer Josh Papalii was restricted to light duties on Wednesday as he continues to battle a shoulder injury suffered in Saturday's loss to the Roosters.
"We know how important Sia is to the club and the team," captain Jarrod Croker said. "To have him back around the squad and in that 21 and potentially playing in the next couple of weeks, it's very exciting."
