Nik Brozinic's side will meet Belconnen United in the NPLW decider on Saturday afternoon at Deakin Stadium, before the men's team host Gungahlin United.
It marks a significant occasion for Croatia, especially given the club switched back to their traditional name earlier this year after the FFA abolished the controversial national club policy.
While the name change means more to the club's early members, men's captain Matt Grbesa says it's helped ignite a spark among the playing group.
"It means a lot more to the board members who have been around since the early days, when we were called Canberra Croatia," said Grbesa.
"But it has lit a fire in a lot of us younger guys with the Croatian heritage as well, so I think it has played little part in our [success so far], but there are a lot of other factors as well."
Both teams are undefeated this season and the women's side will compete in their sixth straight grand final.
Captain Grace Gill is satisfied with their season so far but is eager to avenge last year's heartbreak, believing their best football is yet to come.
"Obviously incredibly proud of our girls," said Gill.
"It has been a long-term competition we have with Belconnen. Although we have seen them in the grand final for the last how many years, I don't think it's a like for like comparison.
"On a very positive note, I don't think we have absolutely hit our straps yet and I don't think we've seen our best type of football on the park. So, to head into a grand final undefeated and say we are not peaking yet is very exciting."
Grbesa is also confident in his side's style of play heading into their clash with Gungahlin, having scored nine goals and kept three clean sheets in their past three matches.
"I think even just going off the finals series, scoring nine and conceding none, we have been in pretty good nick," he said.
"It's a credit to the boys and the coaching staff we have here and everyone putting in the effort.
"Hopefully we can resemble the last game we played against them. Obviously if we can control the ball early on and try and get one in the back of the net quite early, they'll obviously have to chase the game, which will probably benefit us."
Gungahlin skipper Jack Green is confident his side can spoil the party, having re-found some of the form that saw them clinch last season's premiership against Cooma on Saturday.
"I think getting back to our essence of how we performed last year with no fear, trusting each other, playing our brand of football, like we showed a shade of last week against Cooma [will be key]," said Green.
"This week is about trying to build on that, and we have definitely built a lot of confidence off the back of last week's performance."
NPL Canberra finals: Saturday at Deakin Stadium - Canberra Croatia v Belconnen United at 3pm (Women's), Canberra Croatia v Gungahlin United at 6pm (Men's).
