Residents in NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT will lose an hour of sleep tomorrow (Sunday, October 4) when clocks move forward one hour.
However, they will gain an extra hour of daylight at the end of each day.
The changeover happens at 2am on Sunday morning, with the time skipping forward an hour to become 3am at that time.
Your smartphone and computer should adjust the time automatically, but you'll need to change your wall clocks or the bedside alarm clock manually.
Best to do it the night before if you've got somewhere to be on Sunday.
Daylight saving will last through to April 4, 2021, when clocks will go back one hour.
Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory do not participate in daylight saving.
