The three-match one-day international series between Australia and India scheduled for January 2021 will be postponed until next season.
India would have had to arrive next week to fulfil quarantine requirements in time to play the three matches with Cricket Australia confirming the postponement on Thursday.
The series was slated to begin at Manuka Oval on January 22, before shifting to Melbourne's Junction Oval on January 25 and finishing at Bellerive Oval three days later.
Instead it will be played next summer, opening the door for Cricket ACT and the ACT government to chase content in what looms as a blockbuster summer for the national women's side.

Cricket officials are now working on plans to expand the tour to include an additional three Twenty20 internationals to kick off a bumper 2021-22 season.
India, who finished as runners up in the most recent one-day and Twenty20 World Cups, are now poised to tour down under at the start of next season before Australia kickstarts a highly-anticipated multi-format Ashes campaign against England.
A one-day World Cup is also on the horizon with Australia likely to head to New Zealand in February 2022 as favourites to add a seventh crown to the trophy case.
"We are very hopeful of delivering an expanded schedule between the Australian and Indian women's teams for next season, which would be an outstanding result for fans in both countries," interim Cricket Australia chief executive Nick Hockley said.
"We had initially hoped to play India this summer, however the impact of the global pandemic made it necessary to postpone until next season.
"It will be wonderful to once again host the Indian women's team, who were centre stage for that unforgettable ICC Twenty20 World Cup final at the MCG in March, and to do so with an expanded schedule from what was originally planned."
