Tasmanian centurion Nicola Carey hopes a career-best outing is just a launching pad as the Tigers set their sights on chasing down a maiden WNCL crown.

Carey has emerged as the prized scalp ahead of Tasmania's clash with the South Australian Scorpions at Canberra's Phillip Oval on Friday.
The 27-year-old heads into the clash less than 48 hours removed from a starring performance against the ACT Meteors in which she scored 105 and claimed three wickets.
She was the difference maker in a 20-run triumph and now has her eyes locked on backing it up to continue Tasmania's unbeaten start to the season.
"To get the first one off the back is really nice," Carey said.

"It was obviously really nice to start the season with firstly a win for the team, and really nice to contribute, and to get the first one, hopefully there's more to come."
Canberra has emerged as a saving grace for Australian cricket officials this summer with the capital hosting 13 Big Bash League games in the lead up to Saturday's final.
Phillip Oval is playing host to the first four games of the WNCL season, with four more to come in a campaign stretching deep into March.
"To be honest it was a bit of a slow start and I felt quite scratchy through the middle. The pitch was pretty low and slow from the start," Carey said of the Phillip Oval surface.
"We sort of knew it was going to be a bit of a grind and I was happy to be patient at times [against the Meteors]. To get to a score of nearly 230, we were happy with that.
"We would have liked a few more but it was enough in the end. It was good to get the win. There were a few staying low, I was happy to have a look, get my eye in a little bit.
"We spoke about that a lot out in the middle with the new batters coming in, we spoke about how we thought it would be quite hard to get started. I think we saw that there.
"We were happy to take our time. We knew it wasn't going to be the prettiest innings, but to scratch our way to 230ish, pretty happy with that."
