Four active cases remain in hotel quarantine along with three close contacts.
The patients arrived on a government-facilitated flight on March 1 and have been in extended quarantine.
Fragments of the virus were detected in the ACT's sewage system collected on March 16 from the City Central wastewater collection.
ACT Health considers the positive samples most likely related to the know active COVID-19 cases in hotel quarantine but Canberrans are advised to continue with practising good hygiene, physical distancing, staying home if unwell and getting tested if the mildest symptoms are present.
