After Ack Weyman's death in 2019, a Sharks sub-committee was formed to raise money to immortalise Ack alongside his son Michael at the oval which bears his name.
Artist Terry Fuller created the Mick Weyman bronze statue, which was displayed at Moruya's Russ Martin Park before being relocated to Ack Weyman Oval. Fuller was given the task to create the Ack statue which will be revealed on Saturday at 3.30pm.
Sharks executive committee member, Chris Jay, looked forward to the unveiling ceremony.
"The subcommittee of the Moruya Sharks worked tirelessly for 12 months to fundraise and plan for a statue as well as the relocation of Micheal's to be there together with his father at the oval," Jay said.
The ceremony will be followed by the returning Ack Weyman Memorial Shield match between the Sharks and Boorowa Rovers.
