NRL have plans in place for Raiders' Gold Coast game

At the time of writing, the Raiders will still travel to face the Titans as planned - they fly into Gold Coast airport and don't go anywhere near Brisbane - with the game to be played on the Gold Coast on Saturday night.

The Queensland government announced a three-day lockdown on Monday, with the ACT government introducing testing and quarantine requirements for anyone who has been in the greater Brisbane area.

At this stage the Gold Coast was not part of either measures.

Annesley wouldn't be drawn on what the contingency plans were because of the quickly changing nature of the coronavirus landscape.

But they could include the use of charter flights for the Raiders, same-day travel up and back to minimise time in Queensland, and moving the game as a last resort.

The Brisbane Broncos relocated to Sydney on Monday and at this stage their game against the Melbourne Storm will go ahead in Melbourne on Friday night as planned.

Annesley said they still had a couple of days before a final decision was made.

He said their priority was ensuring no games or rounds were suspended.

"We have contingency plans in place for every outcome ... and we have to react based on the reactions of government," Annesley said.

"Governments are calling the shots in these areas and we accept that.

"They've got to look after the general health of the wider community and we have to work within whatever parameters they set.

"That's why we have to be prepared for any eventuality."
