A 39 year-old Coombs man will be summoned to court over the break in which resulted in two cats going missing from the public kennel.
Beau and Luna were not located at the man's residence when police attended on Saturday.
Police did find several other items at the property which they believe link the man to the burglary.
The family whose cats went missing from Tangos Cat Boarding facility have previously appealed for their safe return.
They were holidaying on the South Coast when they received the call that the RSPCA had been broken into and their pets were missing.
