A gloriously garish photograph of Kath and Kim is included in the exhibition, celebrating the friendship of their alter egos, Jane Turner and Gina Riley, who first met in a community theatre group when they were 17.
It's little tidbits like this that you can hear about on one of the daily tours of the exhibition which run daily from 2.30pm to 3pm.
The exhibition - and tours - are on until August 1. Book for the tours at portrait.gov.au.
